No, you can pick up a bottle for $5-6 at your local hardware store or online. Remember when filling the butane to turn the torch upside down in order to ensure that you fill the chamber properly and fully.

Within seconds you will see the smoke begin to fill the chamber of the glass. We recommend smoking for 20-30 seconds until the wood has had time to ferment the drink. After the glass is permeated, we recommend an additional 30-60 seconds to allow the drink to soak up all of the smoke flavors. Really it’s to your taste, so try different time frames and have fun!

Yes, you need a butane torch to properly light the wood ships. Luckily all of our kits include a high quality ready torch.

Each package of wood chips is rated for 100 drinks. Simply put 1-2 pinches of wood in the strainer to enjoy.
